About Randy Ketterling:
Randy Ketterling, MEd. has been a practicing Psychotherapist for over 15 years.
Randy has worked in a wide variety of mental health settings, and has
specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy. Randy has a B.A. in
Psychology (University of New Brunswick), a degree in Secondary Education
(McGill University) and a Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Psychology
(University of Toronto).
Randy will see adults, families,
children and teenagers in his practice with specific expertise in the treatment
of adolescent and children’s mental health issues. Randy has a specific
interest in anti-violence programming in the school environment; he consults
regularly in this area and has worked extensively with children and teens who
have experienced severe bullying. He has lectured extensively, and is an
experienced group therapist, horticultural therapist and has planned and
facilitated a number of wilderness treatment programs. Randy is a retired High
School Teacher having received his certification in the province of Quebec.
Randy is experienced in treating
depression (including self injury), eating disorders, anxiety disorders
(including OCD), post traumatic stress disorder/abuse, ADHD, anger, grief
issues, substance misuse, and youth involved in anti-social activities/legal
involvement, and those with serious behavioral concerns. Randy has worked
extensively in the area of parenting support for caregivers with troubled
children.
